Does that mean that we can start uploading in new Views for old cases?

The final batch of migration files are completed this morning. Please help to verify if everything

 

Note that we are still fixing the outstanding issues for the Access Rights, Report missing records, LKK Mobile, Data Posting and Email sending

As per last update, we have just completed batch 2 migration yesterday night / this morning

 

Final batch of around 160GB will start today evening and should be completed tomorrow night

 

In total breakdown of the migration, please see below table

Last update of migration as of today, we are on track to complete batch 2 migration for Files and Photos (300GB) – 850k of files/photos tonight

 

Outstanding batch 3 will scheduled to start tomorrow evening and will consist of final size around 150 to 160GB

Hi All,

 

Latest update of the migration. We have just completed batch 1 migration for Files and Photos (150GB) – 502,469 files/photos

 

The breakdown of the processes are as below. Note that there are some hiccups or errors in between that took up some time too. We will cut down in the next batches

 

Step	Process Name	Took
1.	Copying of the FILES / PHOTOS database from old VIEWS	3.5hours (In DC)
2.	Extraction of the FILES / PHOTOS from database	8hours (Office)
3.	Upload of FILES to current VIEWS	5hours (Office)
4.	Upload of PHOTOS to current VIEWS	24hours (Office)

 

Based on the above breakdown, it will take around 2.5 – 3 days to complete 1 batch of migration. We have 450GB migration outstanding

 

The next batch will be 250GB and the final batch 200GB

 

Looking at the schedule, we are likely to complete the file migration next week 24 Dec 2020 instead 21 Dec 2020

 

Will be starting step 1 of Batch 2 tonight. Please take note

An update on the VIEW Migration started last Friday 11 Dec 2020 630pm

 

We have completed the data migration for the VIEWS database. Please login to the new URL https://views.init.com.sg/login

 

Do let us know if your team have any problems when accessing

 

Completed items

1. The PARTS database is also migrated completed

 

Outstanding items

1.       Mobile application is not working after migrated to the new server. We have to reconfigure the application as new URL instead of like https://views.init.com.sg/mobile

 

Will update the new mobile URL later today once we sort the problems

 

2.       Will be starting the first batch of files migration around 150GB today. Looking to complete it tomorrow for another round of migration on Wed (200GB) and the last round (250GB) on Friday

 

3.       Email sending of the reports will not be working for now. We need to change the current method of email sending as Microsoft Azure does not allow to send application to send email easily

 

We can extend the report manually upon your team’s request
